Update: In the Works – Undisclosed Title

If you’re wondering what I’m up to as an author, I’m currently writing a new book and trying to up my marketing game. Marketing is… not the most enjoyable, but it’s part of the business.

Actually, my new book isn’t in the science fiction category. I’m heading off my comfortable forest pathway and hugging the mountainside as I forage into the rocky ravine of historical fiction. It’s not my cup of tea, but I asked God for a new idea when I was near publishing Mistake Me, and this was the idea I received. So I’m writing it!

  1. Good luck with your book, Cassie! Are you willing to divulge what era of history you are working in?

I happen to love historical novels, myself. Here is a link (and a website) you may find useful. If not useful, at least enjoyable! https://thehistoryquill.com/how-to-write-historical-fiction-in-10-steps/

Missed seeing you Saturday at Philip’s reception. Maybe we can catch you for the Christmas boat parade if the coronavirus will behave for once in its life.

    1. Hi there!
Yes, an unfortunate miss. If I could’ve attended and not be sick, I’d’ve liked to have been there. I heard it was lots of fun too!

I won’t say the era. Since I’m not sure this book will see the light of a printing press, I don’t want too much hope to be dashed or expectations made. It’s in its rough draft stage, and I’m not too fond of the story so far. But I wasn’t seriously considering Mistake Me to be published in its early stages either. Perhaps it’ll turn into a beaut later on. Maybe it’s in its ugly duckling stage. Haha.
If it’s put on hold or scrapped, I’ll announce it as such. So… It’s a surprise! And surprises are era-sistible. Hahaha.

Also, thank you for the resource!
